Make an Impact
As a not-for-profit, we rely on your support to help us expand our most inclusive and socially impactful programs, champion First Nations culture, present diverse artists, bold new works and community-led events, opening up the Opera House to more of the community than ever before. With more we can do more. Every gift makes a difference.
What you support
First Nations
Join us in celebrating the world’s oldest living culture on the world’s most recognisable stage. Together we can expand and amplify First Nations programs and career development opportunities at the Opera House.
New Work Now
Our donors support independent and diverse artists through contemporary art and contemporary performance commissions. Since 2020 when this donor funded program began, the Opera House has commissioned and co-commissioned more than 40 exciting new works presented online and in person, contributing to our vibrant creative landscape.
Creative Learning
We are committed to building our education strategy to reach more disadvantaged schools and students on site and online. Your support can help us ensure that our life-changing creative learning programs are accessible to everyone.
Access Programs
Our Access programs and initiatives ensure more of the community is welcome and able to experience the joy of the Opera House. By supporting our Access Programs you can provide people living with a disability with the chance to experience the joy of creativity.
Opera House Forecourt
We are determined for everyone to have access to an Opera House experience. To do this, we are reimagining how the Forecourt can be used, turning it into a creative community space, with the ambition to program regular public performances and exhibits.
Digital Programs
Broadening the reach of our Screen program so that we can share the Opera House’s incredible performances and content with people wherever they are.
